Lifecycle Management & Smart Operation
A facility that was built as one system should not then be operated as separate machines. This solution is the management layer that keeps the integration alive for the whole service life of the building.
01 What it solves
Integration is usually won at construction and lost at operation. The systems are installed correctly, then each one is operated from its own panel by its own supplier, and within a year the facility is running as a set of unrelated machines again.
Meanwhile the operating questions are cumulative: which refrigeration unit is drifting out of temperature, which cremator is burning more fuel per body than last quarter, which purification room is losing its pressure differential, what the flue gas is doing right now. Answering those from separate panels is slow — and it is expensive.
The objective
Make the whole facility legible from one place: what is running, what is drifting, what needs attention, and what it is costing — before it becomes a failure.
02 What the solution includes
Refrigeration monitoring
Real-time temperature display, automatic control, remote parameter setting, over-temperature alarms and low-temperature protection, with historical curves and reports.
Records and reporting
Automatic logging of refrigeration temperatures into trend curves, with historical data analysis and printable reports for compliance and maintenance planning.
Alarm routing
Automatic status messages sent to management staff so the plant can run unattended or with minimal staffing, with SMS query of equipment status.
Energy & flue-gas management
Energy consumption and flue-gas parameters monitored alongside each other, since cremation cost and emission performance are the same problem.
Integrated security
Video surveillance, network security and access integrated into the same operations picture as the process equipment.
Dispatch & fleet
Vehicle management and dispatch scheduling for intake, transfer and collection, connected to the transfer equipment.
Environmental monitoring
Pressure, air velocity, temperature and air-quality readings from the air-safety clean rooms, feeding the central control system.
Visual operations
Dashboards that show the facility as a whole — dispatch centre, alert query and operations overview on one screen.
03 How it works
The platform is organised as a ring around the facility rather than as a list of product modules, so the operator always reads the building first and the equipment second.
Instrument
Sensors and controllers are specified during the turnkey design stage, so monitoring is designed in rather than added later.
Connect
Refrigeration, purification, cremation, energy and security data are brought onto one network.
Present
A visual operations picture shows equipment status, dashboards and open alerts.
Monitor
Trend curves and reports expose drift in temperature, pressure, energy and emissions.
Control
Remote parameter setting and automatic control intervene without a site visit.
Escalate
Alarms route to the responsible staff, shortening the gap between fault and response.
04 Where it applies
The system is scoped across eight operating areas, each of which keeps its own control while reporting into the common picture.
05 Technical basis
The management layer sits on top of the same standards as the systems it monitors, and is reported through a registered software copyright held by the company.

08 Questions buyers ask
Does this require the whole facility to be built by you?
No, though it works best that way. Existing equipment can be monitored where it exposes a usable data interface; where it does not, we will say so rather than imply a capability that is not there.
Can the plant really run unattended?
Refrigeration and purification can run with unattended or minimal staffing, because alarms route to staff remotely. Cremation remains an attended process.
Is the monitoring data stored locally or in the cloud?
That is a project decision and depends on your IT policy. Both local monitoring centres and wide-area access are supported; the architecture is agreed during design.
We already have a building management system. Can you work with it?
Usually yes, subject to what that system exposes. Send the make and model at proposal stage and we will confirm before committing to an integration.
Where to go next
Scope this solution for your project.
Send the site, the zones and the stage you are at. We reply with what we would deliver, which interfaces we would own and the standards we would build to.
